		<description>Thanks, Will, for stating the obvious.  While we do need to worry about our children AND inapropriate access, and the obvious dangers of the Internet - however, blogging for kids - in fact any kind of journaling is wonderful. It goes without saying that kids are going to want to do the most high-tech form of journaling.

Further, ALL of us can become prey to &#039;weirdos&#039; if we are not careful.  Thanks again for writing this letter.

		<description>From the tone of that video clip the only people using the Internet are children and predators; it is complete reactionary agitprop and the main reason why I get all my news from the &#039;net. I wonder who writes the news I read online &#8212; children or predators?

The points you make are pretty much spot on, but I always thought neo-Luddites were opposed to &lt;em&gt;unnecessary&lt;/em&gt; technological change. I&#039;d argue [and I&#039;m sure you would too] that blogging is a most necessary tool.</description>
